Or you may head North to the fabled “Land of the Giants” where some of the largest bonefish can be found.

 Bonefish tend to be the primary target but there are several areas on the West Side with resident Tarpon. Permit appear when least expected and for excitement on a slow day, barracuda, snapper and sharks can all be caught on fly.

If you are bone fishing for the first time than a half days are possible. Or for the greatest challenge, set out wading or kayaking from the resort and see if you can first spot and then catch the ‘ghost of the flats’ by yourself.
